I have been wanting to change from my current bank to another, but,
there are issues as to how quickly my direct deposit from my employer
will change over to my new bank of choice. This has always been an
issue. I dropped into the Wachovia Bank on P St today, across from
Whole Foods, and was introduced to Justin Silvers, a Financial Consultant. I explained my situation to him, and he offered to call my
company and discuss options. I put him in contact with a member of my
Corporate Payroll team via telephone. After a 10minute conversation
with my company, and you do not understand how difficult my company
is...he worked it out for a seamless change over from my current bank to
Wachovia. My company usually makes you get paper checks for up to 3
pay periods to make a bank direct deposit change. Kudos to Justin
Silvers at Wachovia, and I highly recommend him for financial advise and
direction.
